Online Quran translation and Tafseer

Study meanings and explanations with a teacher. Share your reading level and language preference so the coordinator can discuss a suitable starting point.

Designed for English speakers with little or no Arabic, this course explains the meaning of the Quran verse by verse — with context, clear explanation and discussion of how each lesson applies to everyday life.

Sources

Classes draw on established translations such as Sahih International, The Clear Quran by Dr Mustafa Khattab and Pickthall, together with classical Tafseer from Ibn Kathir.

How long does it take?

An overview of the key messages and chapters takes about six to twelve months. A detailed verse-by-verse Tafseer takes longer and is paced to suit you.
