A clear enrolment checklist covering course suitability, teacher information, lesson times, fee currency, written policies and progress feedback.
What is the proposed course, and why?
Ask how the learner’s current reading or understanding relates to the suggested course. A title such as Qaida, Nazara or translation should be connected to an explanation of what the learner will work on. Ask which materials are used, what prior knowledge is expected and how a teacher will respond if the pace needs to change.
Who will teach, and what can be verified?
Request current information about the proposed teacher’s subject experience, teaching language and experience with the learner’s age group. Ask for evidence for credentials that matter to you. If you have a teacher preference, confirm actual availability. Do not treat an anonymous testimonial, a photograph or a broad accreditation claim as proof of a specific qualification.
What exactly does the package include?
Confirm the fee currency, billing period, number of lessons and lesson length together. Ask whether the quoted package applies to your chosen course and what a family offer would change, if one is available. Where a local currency amount has not been approved, obtain a quote rather than assuming a conversion from another currency is the payable fee.
How are timetable changes handled?
Write down the learner’s city, date and local time, and ask which clock a recurring lesson follows. Confirm the process for cancellations, missed lessons and make-up requests. Read the current terms and refund policy, then ask the college to clarify any part that affects your circumstances. A general guide does not create an exception to the written arrangement.
How will we know what to practise next?
Ask how feedback is provided, how a parent participates when the learner is a child and when the plan will be reviewed. A useful answer identifies a learning task and a way to discuss it. Avoid treating a promised completion date or a large student-count claim as the main evidence for choosing a course.
Use the learning guides to compare starting points and the trial form to begin a specific conversation. A submitted enquiry is a request for follow-up, not a confirmed place, timetable or price.
Ask for one written summary before paying
Bring together the course name, agreed teacher arrangements, lesson length, number of classes, recurring local time and total fee. Confirm the currency and payment method, including any charges you need to cover. If a detail is still uncertain, ask the coordinator to explain it before treating the booking as final.
For a child, also confirm how a parent receives the class link and progress information, how concerns can be raised and whether any recording is proposed. Ask about consent and access before a recording takes place. General marketing statements cannot answer every family's practical questions.
Check what happens when plans change
- How should you report a missed lesson or request a new time?
- What happens if the assigned teacher is unavailable?
- Which cancellation and refund terms apply to your chosen package?
Review the published fees, terms and conditions and refund policy. Keep the coordinator's written confirmation with your booking details so that you can refer to the agreed arrangement later.
